Retalix® Ltd, a leading global provider of innovative software and services for high-volume, high complexity retailers, today announced that it has partnered with, Eagle Eye, a world leader in mobile coupons and gift voucher solutions, to provide an effective way for retailers to distribute, process and measure mobile coupon and gift voucher redemption, using existing credit card terminals and EPoS technology.

The Retalix system provides retailers with a strong and flexible platform to manage and analyse all promotional activity, and exploit existing in-store systems. The integration of Eagle Eye’s solution will provide additional support for coupons and gift vouchers, without interfering with existing general discount policies. Customers are sent a unique PIN code to their mobile which they simply key into the chip & PIN machine in-store. The solution immediately authenticates the code and the value of the mobile coupons or gift vouchers are deducted from the transaction. It is simple and convenient for the customer to use and provides the retailer with a better insight into customer activity.
