The global situation around Covid-19 has evolved significantly since putting my recent Blog together only last week.
Personally, never more so has a week felt like a lifetime, and my thoughts are with those affected by the virus – whether they are suffering from the illness, friends and family of those affected or the NHS working tirelessly to help.
This weekend I re-read the blog and reflected. Why did I write it? – I wanted to help… somehow. While offering some tips represented a first, small step towards reacting to the situation, we are now going further and have created a number of practical initiatives that we hope will help businesses get through these challenging times:
Initiative 1.
Eagle Eye has been working closely with the Hospitality sector for nearly a decade – it was the sector to adopt our technology first. Now, we want to ensure we are doing our bit to support and help. Working closely with our friends at Wireless Social, we have created a solution to help put Operators at the front of the recovery. We offer our platform and services completely free to Operators and make brand promotions available to them to help boost their business once the Government relaxes social distancing rules. We will configure the Eagle Eye AIR platform during the time that operators are closed. This will ensure that, once the current restrictions are lifted, Operators are ready and can immediately get back to welcoming guests with special promotions and brand-funded offers.
Initiative 2.
We are enabling our “Audience Network” partners, such as We Are Discounts and Blue Light Card, to partner with Retailers and offer promotional rewards to NHS and emergency workers in recognition of their tremendous efforts in fighting this coronavirus. It’s important that these can be applied securely online as well as instore as we heed government advice to reduce the amount of contact we have and remain at home. We are currently working with Retail and Grocery clients to deploy this solution and hope to share more detail on this specific initiative soon.
From my discussions with our clients, who had started another week of uncertainty, those in Marketing want to help build for recovery, The Eagle Eye team is here to help and while it can’t compare to the efforts of superheroes in the NHS, we are here to help the fight for businesses.
Please do contact us to discuss any way we may be able to help your business with any of these initiatives during this challenging time.
Hoping you all stay safe in the meantime,
Al
