New York & London April 30th: Itemize, the receipt data extraction and management solution (www.itemize.com) has agreed to a strategic partnership with Eagle Eye, the UK’s leading supplier of digital customer engagement solutions. The collaboration will see the two companies partner to help retailers gain valuable insight around consumer activity, enabling them to create personalised offers and promotions to their customers. Understanding their unique shopping interests will mean customers obtain offers that are relevant to them helping to drive footfall and increase loyalty.
The Itemize solution automatically extracts detailed purchase data in less than 15 seconds from any paper or digital receipt, helping consumers easily maintain a detailed record of all their purchases. This will also give retailers access to shopper behaviour across multiple stores and channels, not just their own.
The solution delivers 98%+ accuracy on digital receipts at the brand and product level. Itemize automatically archives the purchase information and then harnesses the data to present offers that match their shopping interests. In a consumer pilot conducted in the US, Itemize users demonstrated a 97% lift over control for offers based on their receipts compared to offers based on stated preferences and profiling.
The award-winning Eagle Eye platform provides four key components; campaign marketing, issuance, redemption and reporting. The platform enables retailers to deliver and track personalised coupons, rewards, gifts, payments and other digital tokens securely to their customers through any media as well as offering these customers the chance to redeem the offers easily at the POS in real-time, either in store or online, via keyed entry, scan or NFC.
